Bangladesh Musicians Foundation (BMF) was officially launched in 2015. It is a non-profit organization that works on issues related to the development of the quality of local culture and instrumentalists and their financial security. Since its inception, the organization has been conducting training workshops aimed at improving the quality of instrumentalists. Apart from this, it also helps financially disadvantaged people through financial donations at different times. For example, in the post-COVID period, all the mechanical engineers were spending their days almost starving financially. Then BMF came forward as a beacon. The organization collected donations from the wealthy people of the society at different times and distributed them among the musicians. In terms of social responsibility, BMF has been participating in various social activities, helping the underprivileged, helping the medically ill, etc. until now. The cultural programs through which the medically ill earn their living from time to time are also almost on the verge of closure due to various adversities.In this situation, BMF seeks to ensure the financial security of the artists and to develop the artists through higher level workshops organized by BMF. In addition, it aims to create a contemporary fusion by combining local and foreign musical instruments and to exchange cultures and create a sustainable cultural bond by presenting them in different countries when the opportunity arises.The respect of artists is their right. Artist is a profession. In order to provide constitutional recognition to this, the BMF delegation has repeatedly met with the state machinery and officially submitted letters. Due to the adverse reaction of the global war situation, the wealthy in the society have reduced their helping hands due to the economic recession in the country and state grants are not being received as expected.In such a situation, our activities are being severely disrupted.
